Overview

More than a place to stay. A place to arrive.

Hidden among Dalat’s quiet pine hills, Dalat Train Village is a heritage-inspired destination where architecture, nature, culture, and slow living come together in one continuous experience.

Originally a 1930s railway residential estate, the compound has been thoughtfully reimagined into a multi-layered retreat — not just a hotel, but a complete destination designed for meaningful stays.

Today, Dalat Train Village is home to:

  • a boutique hotel and heritage villas

  • a garden-rooted restaurant celebrating local flavors

  • wellness spaces including spa and gym

  • open lawns and pine gardens for workshops, gatherings, and team-building

  • curated outdoor experiences that invite guests to slow down and reconnect

Here, guests do not simply check in.
They settle in, wander, listen, and stay a little longer than planned.

Shared Moments, Simply Lived

From shared meals to intimate workshops, meaningful connections grow naturally in calm spaces.

"Whether visiting for rest, inspiration, culture, or connection, guests experience Dalat Train Village as a living environment - layered, calm, and deeply rooted in place."

RESTORATION & REBIRTH (2023-2025)

When Indochina Railways JSC began restoration in 2023, the goal was not to create a museum.

Instead, the vision was:

  • Preserve the spirit of the 1930s community

  • Bring back warmth & livability

  • Respect history without freezing it

  • Blend heritage with comfort for modern travelers

Stone walls were reinforced. Wooden structures were repaired. Gardens were reopened to the pine forest. Pathways were redesigned to welcome guests safely.

By 2025, the estate quietly re-emerged as Dalat Train Village .. a heritage retreat where timeworn stories, restored craftsmanship, and warm hospitality continue to coexist with effortless grace.

OUR PHILOSOPHY -
LIVING SLOWLY, LIVING MEANINGFULLY

We believe in:

  • the beauty of simple architecture

  • the importance of preserving cultural memory

  • the harmony between nature and living spaces

  • hospitality that feels honest, warm, and unhurried

Dalat Train Village is not a place made to dazzle from

afar .. it is a place meant to be felt.

A quiet sanctuary cradled between pine forests,

and the old railway line.
A gentle homage to Dalat’s storied past.
And a soft whisper inviting you to slow down…

and truly arrive.

A LIVING HERITAGE TODAY

Dalat Train Village is now:

  • a rare surviving railway residential cluster from the 1930s

  • a peaceful boutique retreat rooted in local culture

  • a gentle escape for those seeking slow mornings and quiet nights

  • a destination for photography, architecture lovers, and heritage explorers

  • home to one original preserved train carriage .. unmoving, yet full of stories from the past

Guests often say that staying at Dalat Train Village feels like stepping into a gentler version of Dalat .. a Dalat of soft morning light, cool pine breezes, and conversations carried in whispers.

A place where heritage is not displayed,
but lived.
A place where you arrive as a visitor,
and leave with a quiet sense of belonging.
